So what is an Autoimmune Disease? An Autoimmune disease is born when your body is working hard to defend itself against something potentially dangerous, such as an allergen, a toxin or an infection, and is unsuccessful to characterize between the intruder and parts of your own body.

Confusing certain types of tissues for harmful substances, your body turns these antibodies against itself, inflicting damage in your organs. Autoimmune disorders are broadly grouped into two categories: (1) Organ-specific which means one organ is affected, while (2) Non-organ specific disorders mean more than 1 organ may be affected. There are close to 100 different immune disorders ranging in severity from mild to serious depending on which system of the body is under attack and to what degree.

You must consult your doctor if you are experiencing the following symptoms. Chances are, you may have an autoimmune disease:

Skinny Bitch in the Kitch is a recipe book written by Rory Freedman & Kim Barnouin. They proclaimed themselves as total pigs and eating is their favorite thing to do but they also care about their health. It was their passion for food and concern for health that led them to write Skinny Bitch in the Kitch.

All the recipes listed on Skinny Bitch in the Kitch are all delicious and easy to make. Here’s a sample recipe from the book Skinny Bitch in the Kitch:

Green Goddess Pasta
Serves 4

4 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons refined coconut oil
6 tablespoons vegan butter
3 quarts water
About 5 teaspoons fine sea salt
8 ounces whole wheat or brown rice elbow macaroni
2 zucchini, halved lengthwise and cut into 1⁄4-inch slices
1 broccoli crown, cut into bite-sized florets (about 2-1⁄2 cups)
1⁄2 bunch (about 4 ounces) kale, cut into 1⁄2-inch strips
1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
1⁄4 cup pine nuts

In a 1-quart saucepan over low heat, combine the garlic and coconut oil and cook, swirling occasionally, until the garlic is fragrant and starting to brown, about 3 minutes. Remove from the heat, add the butter, swirling until it melts, and set aside.

In a 4- to 6-quart stockpot over high heat, combine the water with about  1-1⁄2 tablespoons salt. Bring the water to a boil, add the macaroni, and cook according to the package directions until about 1 minute shy of being done. Stir in the zucchini, broccoli, and kale. Cook until the vegetables are tender and the pasta is cooked, about 1 minute.

Drain the pasta mixture, reserving 1⁄2 cup of the pasta cooking water. Return the mixture to the pot and stir in the garlic butter, pepper, 3 tablespoons of the pine nuts, and the remaining 1⁄2 teaspoon of salt. Transfer the pasta to plates or a platter, garnish with remaining 1 tablespoon of pine nuts, and serve.

The 17 Day Diet: A Doctor’s Plan Designed for Rapid Results Book

The 17 Day Diet: A Doctor’s Plan Designed for Rapid Results is written in an easy to read format. Dr. Mike Moreno, who is the author of The 17 Day Diet: A Doctor’s Plan Designed for Rapid Results, wrote this in a very simple and straightforward manner, not to mention about his good sense of humor.

There are four cycles in The 17 Day Diet: A Doctor’s Plan Designed for Rapid Results and each cycle is 17 days in length: Cycle 1(Accelerate) is the rapid weight loss portion that helps take out sugar and fat storage from your system. It involves lots of lean protein and veggies and very small amounts of fruits and probiotics. Cycle 2 (Activate) It is the metabolic restart cycle with alternating low and high calorie days to help reduce body fat. It adds in lean meats, natural starches, and starchy vegetables. Cycle 3(Achieve) is about controlling portions and introducing new fitness routines. This involves breads, pastas, more fruits, and more snack options. Cycle 4 (Arrive) is a combination of the first three cycles (Accelerate, Active and Achieve) to keep good habits up for lifestyle change. On weekends, you enjoy your favorite foods. It is finding a happy and comfortable way to continue doing healthy eating  as a maintenance level. It is really about getting back to whole foods, just with a particular focus on certain categories for short periods of time. Some other things that would be helpful for someone who’s serious about The 17 Day Diet: A Doctor’s Plan Designed for Rapid Results was that Dr Moreno even explained how to keep the diet going while you're on a trip, on  holidays, or if one of your family members is on a totally different eating routine. Dr. Moreno also mentioned that 4 cups of coffee is still good for you---minus the sugar and creamer of course!

If you need to shed pounds fast and in a safe, effective, and lasting way, The 17 Day Diet: A Doctor's Plan Designed for Rapid Results book is for you!

“We’ve all pledged, promised and bullied ourselves to eat better and exercise more, but so many times even the best intentions fall short. I incorporate healthy habits into my work and home life and you can too.” –Dr. Mike Moreno, author of The 17 Day Diet: A Doctor’s Plan Designed for Rapid Results

Nature’s Way Metabolic Reset is the best protein shake mix I have ever tasted. It’s a very filling meal replacement or a low calorie snack since it’s only 130 calories/serving. It'll make you full for a few hours. The best thing about Nature’s Way Metabolic Reset is that it has no sugar in it. It says on the description that it addresses both the glycemic and caloric causes of weight gain by safely reprogramming appetite to reduce hunger and cravings.

You can prepare it in a blender with crushed ice and add in whatever fruit or any healthy ingredient that you’d like or if you're always on the go, you can just mix the powder in a shaker bottle for easy consumption. For the price of Nature’s Way Metabolic Reset, it truly is worth the buy. There is no weird after taste or chalky texture, plus the ingredients are natural. It is a great breakfast deal instead of bacon or waffles especially when you're in a hurry. This drink gives you tons of energy and you will be completely satisfied with all the nutrients that your body will get. It is also a lot creamier compared to other protein shakes.
